I was suprised when I joined the deaf and hard of hearing people's education group – we learn reading and writing using B.S.L. and the English writing.

The group was selected as Overall Awards Winners for Adult Learner's Week by the Adult Learning Partnership and the Scottish Television Awards. When we went to Prestonfield Hotel for the prize. It was the best day of my life. We went up on the stage and we were given the certificate and the awards. Then the photographs were taken. I wish that my friends and family had been there to see it. After, we had dinner and a party. It was a great day and it was such a happy time for all the A.B.E. group. Thank you A.B.E
